THE YEAR IN REVIEW

The Cardinals improved a lot during the season as the players honed their individual and team skills. A major challenge the team faced was the abrupt transition from Little League to the much tougher OBA level of play, a challenge that the players successfully overcame, earning the respect of their opponents and winning a spot in the Ontario finals.

Welcome to the website for the 2003 Erindale Cardinals Minor Bantam AA baseball team.

Erindale Lions Baseball - Since 1965 The Cardinals are part of the Erindale Lions Little League, founded in 1965, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Erindale is supported by the Lions Club and is a member of Little League Canada. Our players were born in 1989-1990.

We were a Tier 2 AA team playing in the Central Ontario Baseball Association. In 2003 we played 20 regular games in a 6-team division, followed by 5 playoff games, interspersed with 9 tournament games. The other teams in our division were the  Brampton Braves,  Burlington Bulls,  Georgetown Eagles,  Mississauga North Wildcats, and  Oakville A's.

This site reported news and upcoming events, gave information about the team, presented a page for sponsors, listed the season's games and results, depicted maps to places we go, and told how to contact us.
