Welcome to the website for the Mississauga Majors’ Minor Mosquito AAA baseball team for 2000!
The Year in Review
Our key accomplishments in 2000 included:
- winning second place in the league, two points behind 1999’s Ontario champs;
- winning second place in the Mississauga Majors tournament;
- winning first place in the Niagara Falls tournament;
- finishing as one of the top five teams in the Ontario finals.
We also had a whole lot of fun.

The Mississauga Majors Baseball Association runs AAA (rep) teams for players from Mississauga’s Bloor, Cawthra, and Forest Glen Baseball Associations. The Majors are a member of COBA, the Central Ontario Baseball Association.
The 2000 Minor Mosquito players were born in 1990.
This year we played 23 regular games and 6 exhibition games in a 14-team league, against teams from Brampton, Burlington, Georgetown, Mississauga, Oakville, and Toronto. We also played in 6 tournaments, in Agincourt, Brampton, Burlington, Clarkson, Mississauga, and Niagara Falls.
