Dear Parents and Players:

The coaching staff would like to welcome players and parents to the 2006 Mississauga Majors’ Major Mosquito team. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during the transition period and try-outs. We want you to know Chris, Mike and myself are committed to making this upcoming season a successful, and most of all enjoyable season for our boys.

We are all looking forward to next spring however; we all know there is a great deal of work to be done before then. The focus during our off-season will be to improve the overall skills of our players. We are currently arranging our gym and pitching clinic schedule. We understand that hockey and other winter sports are an issue for many of you, however winter practice will be on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning in January. Time and location will be posted by the end of the month. Our goal was to establish a practice schedule that every player can work within and hopefully we have achieved that.

Finally, we would like to thank the parents for the strong showing at the annual parent coach meeting. Your input and feedback was greatly appreciated, we as a coaching staff are truly looking forward to a great year with our group.
