We played in a May 26-28 tournament hosted by BOMBA, the Burlington Organized Minor Baseball Association.

In this tournament we won 2 games, and lost 2 games.

Here are the game results and coach’s commentaries:

• Game 1: we lost 3-6 to the York Pioneers. Our offense was led by the 3 hit performance of Steve Smith. A solid relief effort from Jeff Davis, who threw 4 innings and gave up no earned runs, while striking out 7.
• Game 2: we beat the Pickering Red Sox 8-5. The winning pitcher was David Murphy, who threw 5 innings, giving up 3 hits. Jeff Davis got the save, with three strikeouts in the last inning. The offence was led by Mat Kozak with 2 hits and four RBIs. Steve Smith had a great day at the plate, going 4 for 4.
• Game 3: we beat the Burlington Bulls/2 13-1. The winning pitcher was Kris Mohammed, who threw 5 strong innings, giving up only 3 hits. The offense was led by Kyle Szczepanowski, who had two hits and 3 RBIs; Mat Kozak had 2 hits and two RBIs.
• Game 4: we lost to the Royals 0-13. We got off to a slow start, falling behind 5-0 after the first inning, and could not recover. Brampton scored 13 runs on 8 hits and 11 walks. We had no runs on 6 hits.
