Revised Calendar Page

September 23, 2009

The Calendar page has been revamped. The whole calendar now appears on the Calendar page.

Previously, the page just had columns of buttons labelled with the names of the months: clicking on one of these buttons would take you to a separate page which had the calendar for that particular month.

Now, the buttons for the various months are much more compact, and the entire calendar appears below the buttons: now, clicking on one of the buttons simply jumps downwards to where the calendar for that month begins.

These buttons now appear at the top right of the calendar for each month:

Previous monthNext monthList modeTop of page (when in Calendar Mode)

Previous monthNext monthGrid modeTop of page (when in List Mode)

The first two buttons look a bit different than before, but they do what they did before, i.e. jump to the calendar for the previous or next month. The third button is the same as before, selecting either list or calendar mode. The fourth button is new: it goes to the top of the page.

You now print the calendar differently. Previously you could print the calendar only for a single month at a time. Now, with the full calendar on one page, you can print any portion of the calendar, one month, or many months: how to do this is described in a new FAQ, “How do I print a team calendar?”.

Note : this also affected the What’s Up page, whose calendar was updated to match the revised Calendar page.
